It's finally here! The big week! Here is what you need to know for our concert on Thursday night:
When Is It? This Thursday, May 11. Students should arrive at 6:30 to get seated and tune our instruments. Our first song will start at 7:00.
Where Is It? South Granville High School auditorium.
What Do We Wear? Students wear the same formal black & white attire as the December concert. No Santa hats for this concert, though.
What Should We Bring? Don't forget your instrument and your music folder.
What Should We Do When We Get There? Everyone except percussion should unpack their instrument and leave their instrument case in the car. 6th grade reports straight to the stage, since they are the first to perform. 7th and 8th grade will go to their seats in the auditorium.
There should be enough room for them to keep their seats, as Mr. Maston has told the high school band that they do not need to be there until 8:00. Next year, we plan to alleviate the seating issue by having 6th grade concerts separate from the 7th and 8th grade concerts. We are just getting too big to do everything together, which is a great problem to have!
